We hold our annual school Athletics Day at the beginning of each year at Newtown Park. This exciting event allows students to compete in a variety of disciplines, including sprints, high jump, long jump, discus, shot put, relays, and more.
Students are encouraged to dress appropriately in their house colors, ready to chant and compete. Sunscreen is usually provided, but we strongly recommend that everyone wear sunscreen, bring a hat, and stay hydrated to ensure their safety throughout the day.
Athletics Day also serves as an opportunity for students aiming to qualify for College Sport Wellington's Regional Athletics Meet. Students who place in the top three for each event at Athletics Day will be considered for regionals, with final qualifications determined by College Sport Wellington.

- 5 – 7 December: Nationals - Mitre 10 Regional Sports Park, Hastings
