We will look to enter an Open Team in the College Sport Wellington competition.
Registrations have now closed for Underwater Hockey. If you would still like to register, please contact sport@stmw.school.nz, there is a chance we may be able to find a place in a team for you.
TRAINING DAYS: Starting in Term 1. Mostly Sunday mornings, 8-9am. Some training days will be on a Wednesday, 5-6pm. The coaching team will confirm exact details of training.
LOCATION OF TRAINING: Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre (WRAC)
COMPETITION KEY DATES AND EVENTS:
Have a go 'scratch league': 25th March – 8th April
Pre-season Blitz: 4-5th April 2025. Friday 7.30-9.45pm and Saturday 12-9pm
Weekly Games over Term 2 and Term 3, held at either Te Ngaengae Pool or Wellington Aquatic Centre: Tuesday evenings - starting 6 May
Tournament: Nationals in Winter Tournament Week - Wellington (Team needs to qualify, via Central Schools Championship, June, in Wellington). There will be an additional cost to play in this tournament if the team is selected.
UNIFORM: UWH togs, UWH stick, gloves, snorkel, mask, with playing protective caps provided.
Cost: $200 NZD – This includes team registration and pool fees for games
